Questions about birth charts

What is a Vedic birth chart (kundli)?

A map of where the Sun, Moon and planets were, against the stars, at the moment and place you were born. Vedic astrology (Jyotiṣa) uses the sidereal zodiac and reads the chart through houses, signs, birth stars (nakshatras), divisional charts and planetary periods (dashas).

How is it different from Western astrology?

Vedic astrology measures the zodiac from the fixed stars (sidereal), so most placements fall about 24° earlier than in Western (tropical) astrology — often a sign earlier. It also leans on the Moon's birth star, divisional charts and dasha periods for timing.

What do the reading cards show?

“Read my chart” turns your whole chart into a handful of plain-English cards — career, love, money, timing, your superpower, one thing to watch, and what this week brings — each with the placement behind it one tap away.
